Born Too Late: Old Songs for a New Songstress

by Alix Paige

Alix Paige returns to The Metropolitan Room with an homage to the greatest female vocalists of the 1930s, 40s and 50s on Sunday, March 3rh at 9:30 pm. Always feeling like she belonged back in the days of those fabulous jazz legends, Paige explores the timeless jazz classics that were sung by the likes of Sarah Vaughn, Ella Fitzgerald, and Dinah Washington, just to name a few. Like her previous Met Room show "A Paige on Men", the Bennett Paster Trio joins Alix again and together they will bring you back to a time when Jazz legends were born and the American Songbook was made.
